...Grave Sights Hearse Club started when Scary Perry Claeys was talking to his good fiend and fellow hearse owner, (Morbid) Matt Dunham of Union Grove, Wisconsin, about some rules that some hearse clubs have, such as they might require that you reside in the same state as the club, or might even have a fee to join. They both belonged to a couple other hearses clubs, and couldn't understand why anyone would have any rules or limits when it comes to enjoying these grave/great vehicles? The only thing that should matter is that your love of hearses! That's it. And if you have the guts to actually buy and drive one....MORE POWER TO YOU!

....That's when Claeys & Dunham decided that they should start a hearse club of their own. But they wanted to offer a hearse club to the public with no limits, no fees, or anything that would prevent ANYONE from joining if they so desired to. As long as you own a hearse, flower car, or a hearse-style ambulance, that's all they cared about, and it didn't matter where you live, either! And with the then closing of the Midwest Hearse Society, there wouldn't be another hearse club in Wisconsin.

....Dunham, a graduate of web design, had also occasionally rented his hearse out for proms and such with his custom painted hearse, when the rear compartment was converted limo-style with enough seats to sit 6.

....Scary Perry already had a one-page website which was used for his hearse rental business, which was called Grave Sights Hearse Rental. So Claeys and Dunham decided to use that name also for the new hearse club. It was decided that Perry would be the founder and president, with Matt as the co-president.

....Claeys wanted to combine the new hearse club with his love for Halloween, so that's why you'll see horror rela-dead graphics on allot of the pages here (not to mention many humorous but twisted puns).

....About a year later, another hearse driving buddy of Perry's named (Psycho) Steve Andersen, also from Kenosha, climbed aboard the Grave Sights funeral procession (so-to-speak) as the club's Vice President. Andersen has over 25 years experience at NAPA and Bumper-To-Bumper Auto Parts for many years and has a vast knowledge of Cadillacs. Other than his 1963 Cadillac Hearse, he's also owned a vintage 1951 Cadillac Deville, 1968 Chevy Impala, and other vintage automobiles.

...Because of his constant club support with activities, donations, supplies, ect..."Morbid" Mike Laufenberg of Wautoma, WI., two-time winner of Grave Sights "Most Dead-icated Member award, was elected to the position of Club Chairman during the winter of 2006. Mike has the Grave Sights Logo tattoo'd on his upper back. In addition, Mike also saved Perry's life in June of 2006.

...So that's just a small bit of Grave Sights "Hearstory". ......Any questions?
